Privacy policy

The protection of your data matters to us. This policy explains how Immeditech AG processes personal data – in line with the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP).

Data controller

Immeditech AG, Dornacherstrasse 210, 4053 Basel, Switzerland. Email: info@immeditech.ch.

Which data we process

When you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, organisation, email, phone number and your message) in order to deal with your request.

When visiting the website, technically necessary server log data (e.g. IP address, time, page accessed) is processed to ensure operation and security. The website is operated on Immeditech AG's own servers in Switzerland.

We use no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools. Your language choice is stored only locally in your browser (local storage) so that the website appears in your language on your next visit; this information is not transmitted to us.

Purpose and legal basis

We process your data solely to answer your enquiry, to provide our services and to fulfil legal obligations.

Disclosure to third parties

Your data is disclosed only where necessary for service delivery or where there is a legal obligation. Any processors are contractually bound to confidentiality.

Map display (OpenStreetMap)

Our website embeds map material from OpenStreetMap (provider: OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom). For data-protection reasons the map is not loaded automatically: no data is transmitted to OpenStreetMap when you open the page. Only when you actively click "Load map" are the map tiles requested from OpenStreetMap's servers. In doing so your IP address is transmitted to OpenStreetMap; this is technically necessary in order to deliver the map content to your browser. The legal basis is the consent you give by clicking. For more information see OpenStreetMap's privacy policy: https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy This involves disclosing data abroad (United Kingdom); according to the Swiss Federal Council, the United Kingdom provides an adequate level of data protection.

Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or statutory retention periods.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of the processing of your data. Please contact info@immeditech.ch.
